After the shocking conclusion to last night's episode of One Tree Hill - and the lack of resolution to the contract squabbles of Chad Michael Murray (Lucas) and Hilarie Burton (Peyton) - what can we possibly expect from next week's sixth season finale?

Here's what E! Online reports, having seen the thing:

"Are we sure this is a season (not series) finale? Because we've seen the last episode of One Tree Hill for this year, and all the story lines end so darn pleasantly!"

Hmm. You can use your imagination and draw your own conclusion, but that leads us to believe that after all that foreshadowing, Peyton is not going to die, right?

The even bigger question - is next week it for One Tree Hill?!
