Vampire Diaries Casts Steven R. McQueen
The CW's new vampie pilot, Vampire Diaries, cast one of its lead character last week. According to TV Guide, Steve McQueen's gandson, Steven R. McQueen has landed one of the lead roles, Jeremy.
Vampire Diaries is based off the popular book series of the same name. Jeremy is the younger brother of Ella, the main heroine of the book who is trying to decide between two Vampire brothers.

Apparently Ella did not have a brother in the book series and the CW is already proving its ready to stray from the book series. We can't judge them too much because that seems to be working for HBO's vampire book gone hit television show, True Blood.

Klaus: What an entirely unwelcome surprise. Elijah: And what an entirely unsurprising welcome.

Ella? I thought it was Elena? what happened to Margaret? THERES TOO MANY BOYS ALREADY! LOL
and oh yeah! Stefan and Damon arent 200 years old!
they were in the Renaissance Italy, back in the 15th century:
calculated= 500 years old! or if its 15th - 21st century it would probably be 600. (sorry about that, I am such a nerd for Vampire Diaries!)
oh well, making this comment wont do any change now is it?
for other Vampire Diaries Fans:
this is pretty cool, hey?

OH MY SH_T! i LOVE vampire diaries! SO MUCH! i am so happy! but at the same time crushed! cuz i wanted my imagination to stay in the book and no one changing it... BUT thanks to CW it squished me cuz of:
-changing 4 year old Margaret as Jeremy!
-what the hell is Ella? its ELENA!
-Stefan and Damon r better looking than those ugly tits
(no offense though, I'm just letting out what i think)
GOD THIS IS...... baaaaaaaaaaaah!
but please CW! please! get BETTER looking people!
that is not what i imagined of Matt Honeycutt! nor Damon Salvatore and Stefan Salvatore! PLUS - i want Margaret Gilbert not Jeremy Gilbert!
whats next! changing Elena Gilbert to Ella Gibertt or something!
DOOOOOOOO SOMETHING! >;(

Wasn't her name ELLENA? and she had a 4 year old sister in the book. ok so you change things up a bit but if making a show out of a book wouldnt it be wise to keep the characters the same or atleast close to the same? I will watch the first show but i just hope that it doesnt turn out to be a big dissapointment like the TWILIGHT move was :( It really lets me down when i get so into a book and a movie is made from it and then its nothing like the movie. I just wish i had the money and connections to remake that movie i would.....hummmmmm
