Updated Synopsis of "The Age of Dissonance"

Blair (Leighton Meester) receives devastating news about her future that leads her on a witch-hunt for the person responsible.
Dan (Penn Badgley) and Rachel (guest star Laura Breckenridge, above) agree to stay away from each other in the aftermath of being discovered as more than teacher and student, but ultimately find it impossible to keep that promise.

it says they find the play mirrors their lives. the age of innocence is about a guy who marries the society person he is expected to be with when in actuality he is in love with her cousin. perhaps that mirrors the nate/blair/chuck triangle with genders reversed? or blair/nate/vanessa although who could decide that vanessa was the love of his life?

I noticed that the whole "Serena asking Vanessa for help during a school project" is taken from the books: in them Serena wanted to shot a movie, and there wasn't a director involved, but it created some nice moments between S and V. maybe Vanessa will hook up with the director instead, forcing Nate to be jealous? Anyway, I'm afraid it won't be a nice episode, I'm looking forward for "the granfather", as in 2x18 we'll see more of two on my most hated plots: Rachel and Dan and Chuck and Elle.

I think I will rewatch everything starting from the pilot. That should give me my GG fix and keep everything fresh in mind.

I don't think Blair is getting into Yale. I bet that's what leads to her breakdown. I don't want the characters to leave New York and go to Connecticut, Rhode Island, Etc. It would ruin the show. New York is such a big part of everything if they left it would suck!

what is this devastating news about blair's future?? dan did something, i bet. because blair wants 'dan humphrey's head of a platter'
