Really, well, after reading this forum im pretty sure that the majority of blair/leighton fans need to grow the fuck up, they can't stand anyone getting attetention other than their precious little leighton, they can't stand any other charactors having screen time except B/C, they think everyother girl is hideous compared to their plain looking little hero, they fucking worship the ground of an actor who's done one fucking thing, they call her their 'idol' but what has she ever done to be idolised?

It's not only with Jessica/V. It's also with Taylor/J and Blake/S. I'm generally okay with Leighton/B fans' but Ohmyg, the Leighton fans in this sites are usually downright hostile when it comes to anything other than Leighton/B or Chair. And that is such a turn off. Sadly GG has become quite the soap opera. I used to like it in S1 and mid of S2.

I have a question for all the ppl who are hating.... what if when gossip girl had started out jessica was cast as blair and leighton, vanessa... how the hell do you guy think u would have reacted to leighton?...You ppl seriously need to grow up...I mean who she play in gossip girl doesn't reflect who she is or isn't off the set...so stop bashing on her!

i agree with most people by saying she is beautiful indeed BUT i am entitled to an opinion as are all you people on this site. i DO NOT HATE JESSICA. I STRONGLY DISLIKE HER CHARACTER (VANESSA)and as a Result it makes me question whether or not she is a good actor? my conclusion is she is not a good actor but yours may be different!! i heard her role is going to get bigger in up coming episodes and therefore i will stay open minded and her character progression could lead to me liking her.
as for the mag covers- her few lines on GG cannot make her that popular- why not have Taylor(Jenny)grace the covers of Lucky. I therfore attribute her sudden increase in popularity to her 'dating'Ed Westwick( and alot of credit to her beauty minus acting skills).

i admit i never really liked or cared for vanessa on the show because her character is often shown as judgmental and hypocritical and is just plain annoying. therefore, i wasn't really interested in the actress who played the character. i thought the acting was mediocre, which may not be her fault. it may be because she doesn't have as interesting a character. it's hard to tell if she's a great actress or not since she doesn't get as great a storyline as some of the other characters.
when i first heard that her and ed were dating, i wasn't thrilled about it because yes i think ed and leighton are adorable together both on screen and off. HOWEVER after seeing some pictures of ed and jessica together, i had to admit, they were pretty cute too. plus, it's there lives and it's not like anything we say or think will affect their relationship. i also used to think that compared to the rest of the cast, vanessa wasn't as pretty, which has to do with a lot of her style as well. sh

anyways,i think Jessica S is georgous,i like her picture when she's doing her serious look coz there's so much energy there(i am not tyra banks),but she doesnt look really good if she smile wide since she doesnt hv so much of a prominent cheek bone.to sum up,she cannot do close up mag cover(in a smilling pose),but she definitely can look georgous posing for the pages inside the mag(like i say,i'm totally not tyra banks!)

I love Ed Westwick and Chuck, and I'm personally not all for Vanessa, but don't you think it's a bit much to assume that Jessica's only getting publicity because of Ed? That's just plain stupid. Like Ed is the biggest thing to hit the shelves since sliced bread (but I love him regardless).
Anyway... Leave her alone, she's beautiful. She doesn't even get as much publicity as Blake and Leighton and a lot of the other stars... So just calm the hell down you little brats.
