Last night's How I Met Your Mother spent thirty minutes introducing us to Ted's ex-girlfriend, Karen, played by guest star Laura Prepon.  Although, Karen had screwed Ted over in the past as shown in flashbacks throughout the episode, Ted gets back together with her.
