Could a real-life Chuck Bass be out there somewhere?

Bravo apparently hopes so. The cable network, notorious for their reality TV programming of the rich and not-so-famous, is producing a Gossip Girl-esque reality show following the lives of privileged private-school attendees in New York City.

The primary concern for the network are the problems that come hand in hand with filming minors and their hookups and partying habits - face it, few real teenagers party as openly, freely, blatantly and conspicuously as dear old Chuck and Co.

Reports are backing up Bravo's fears, with execs reminiscing of the "controversy [that] arose during Laguna Beach when the underage cast was shown drinking what was presumably alcohol at the house parties featured in the show."

Both MTV and CBS have previously attempted similar shows in the past, but both networks failed in pushing the series past the pre-production stage.
