Taylor Swift has pretty much conquered the world of music. Up next? The small screen!

The 19-year old singer will appear on an upcoming episode of CSI.

"Swift will play Haley Jones, a teenaged girl whose family runs a seedy Vegas motel," CBS said in a press release. "Over the course of a year, Haley goes through a series of changes that have tragic consequences."

During his introductory meeting with the star, CSI Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn warned Swift that the character she would be portray would be dark.

"I said, 'it's a very edgy part, this may not be what you want,'" Mendelsohn said. "But she said, 'I love it, and I want to do it.'"

No airdate for Swift's guest-starring stint has been announced yet.
