According to a very reliable source of Ugly Betty spoilers, it looks like Ignacio may find his way into the hospital in an upcoming episode of Betty.  In sad spoiler news, it looks like Ignacio will suffer from a heart attack (at least it's non-fatal!).  As a result, it looks like Betty will be moving back home to Queens.
