Heroes: Four Years Ahead, Leaving Logic Behind

at .

Last night's episode of Heroes was titled "I am Become Death."

And, incredibly, the developments that took place made even less sense than the episode title.

There's a serious issue when the series jumps to the future, as it did last night, taking viewers four years ahead and into a world where everyone has abilities, but no one is getting along very well. The problem is this:

The writers don't bother with continuity, or, well, logic. Because it's an alternate future that will never actually occur, alliances are contrived, story lines are thrown at viewers and the time travel factor provides creators with unlimited, irrational liberty with the characters.
