Rose is a great character -- although the writers gave her better material before the writers' strike. The actor who plays Rose is actually a terrific actress (have you seen some of her other work?), and she adds interest and some normalcy to the cast of characters on the show. Keep her on for a while to spice things up, but also keep her real!

woww. this is going to be interesting, i mean shonda said that merder are together for good, now who said it wouldn't be a bumpy ride. i just have to say, derek did treat rose bad, but rose also knew that derek had broken up with the love of his life, and she also knew that she had to be the rebound girl i think that she is going to be a thorn, because it just works that way. but i think that meredith and derek, i think it's going to hopefully work this time. i just want rose to leavee.

Rose's character is very plain she doesn't really add much to the series aside from Mer/Der drama. It's fine if she sticks around for an episode or 2 but after the thign with Derrick gets all tied up she needs to go. She'd only be interesting if she hooked up with Mark or something . That would be very crazy to see.

I am so sick to death of Rose. The character is lame, she isn't even cute enough for Derek. So, what...she's all doe-eyed and now she's some stalker? PLEEEASE...
Focus on getting Mark some hot chick that can rock his world and for Gods sake, let Mer/Der be happy for more then 1 episode.

I said from the start I thought she would turn out to be a nut case. She came across as sort of a stalker from the beginning. She will probably fake a pregnancy to try and keep Derek. I figure they would have waited until Feb. sweeps that's usually when Meredith has a near death experiance. I figured they would do Rose trying to kill Meredith. But I guess that would really be to soap opery.

It would be great if Rose would be pregnant. No MerDer anymore! Mer can cry on Mark's shoulder:P.
Anyway, they have to keep Rose for more than just one episode.

if she's gonna for ONLY ONE more episode and won't be pregnant or anything then it's OK !! but if she is gonna stick around more than that then it's NOT OK !! her only use is to add some drama to the Mer/Der storyline ( and some jealousy maybe :D ) i am a huge Mer/Der fan and i remember Shonda saying that they'll be 2gether for good so i hope she comes for ONE EPISODE ONLY !!!

So...if that's the case then IS ROSE GOING TO BE PREGNANT? Hmmmmm....That would be WAY TOO Soap Opera style but they DID sleep together right before the end of the season as he told Mark....Just a thought?
