Ambre Lake Discusses "Career," Defends Reality TV

at .

Last Monday, Ambre Lake broke her silence on her amicable split with Bret Michaels, star of the reality dating series Rock of Love.

Now, with Rock of Love 3 set to premiere soon, she's opening up on what's coming up on her career front. Hope you're sitting down.

“I've been surrounding myself with close friends and I'm visiting my family next week,” Ambre Lake told People.

“And working out is very therapeutic for me.”

Phew. Glad we settled that.

Although a happy ending wasn't to be for Ambre Lake and Bret Michaels, she doesn't feel discouraged in her quest to find love once again.

She'd even consider doing another reality TV show.

“Reality TV gets such a bad rap. It changed my life forever and for the better. I'll never be the same. The wonderful thing about being in this reality world is that it allowed me to focus on me and focus on what I want in a man. Would I use this again to find love? Absolutely,” she said.

Moving forward, Ambre Lake has a lot of things to look forward to in terms of her career, saying:

"A lot of things. Little projects, and I'm in a lot of talks. My life was so involved with Rock of Love for so long that I'm transitioning to the next stage. Stay tuned to my MySpace. When I can disclose things, I will. And I want to thank my fans for being so very supportive and wonderful during this. It's a difficult time for Bret and I, but it's an exciting time as well. I really appreciate the kind words and unwavering support.”

I’m writing in the paper that Kingfisher is on the verge of bankruptcy … which it is. The next morning, I get slapped with two lawsuits from Natey Flint. He takes out a liable suit against the Sunrise Herald and a one-million-dollar liable suit against me.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
