Nathaniel Marston Charged with Assault

For Nathaniel Marston, it's more like one criminal life to live now.

The soap opera star was charged with felony assault, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest after allegedly attacking three men with a crate (breaking one guy's leg) in the early hours of Sunday morning in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.

According to the New York Daily News, Marston flailed his arms and kicked at police officers as they tried to arrest him.

He later was taken to Bellevue, where he was labeled "emotionally disturbed" and then released. Police say that Marston appeared to be under the influence of narcotics (possibly cocaine) at the time of the melee.

Reportedly, the actor had been on edge all week, although no one knows what triggered this attack. Earlier in the week, he blew up on the One Life to Live set.

"He's got a split personality," a neighbor told the newspaper. "When I first met him, he seemed chill, but within about the last six months he's gone a little screwy."

In 1999, during his stint on As the World Turns, Marston was arrested for attacking/damaging an ATM. That's just odd.

Then, in 2003, he was killed off of One Life to Live — by some accounts, due to suspect work habits — but brought back as a different character following fan protest.
