First, Vanessa Williams.

Tonight, Ken Paves.

The celebrity hair stylist, along with some dude named Christophe, will be a guest judge on Shear Genius tonight. Paves is known for taking care of some of the most famous locks in Hollywood, such as those of Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria.

"Shear Genius helps all of us remember why we wanted to be hairdressers. I believe hairstyling is like any other art, subject to intention and interpretation," said Paves. "I was impressed by the sense of individuality and dedication that each stylist displayed."

Jaclyn Smith and Sally Hershberger preside on the short-cut challenge where the stylists must create a sexy hairstyle for the everyday man in need of a makeover. Things get even hotter in the elimination challenge when the stylists' skills are put to the test, tasked with recreating hairstyles from distinctive eras such as Medieval, Victorian, 20's, 40's, 60's and 80's.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
