Tonight's Episode: "Some Kind of Miracle"

by at . Comments

This unforgettable three-part event began with the ferry disaster in "Walk On Water." It continued last week in "Drowing On Dry Land," with the heroics of some interns and the death of one of their own.

Derek Saves Meredith… For Now
In tonight's episode, titled "Some Kind of Miracle," Grey's Anatomy fans can only hope that the miracle is Meredith Grey being brought back to life.

When Grey's Anatomy returns tonight after least week's thriller, the surgeons pull out all the stops to make it happen.

Mer's fight to live affects everyone at Seattle Grace as people all over the hospital are having crises after the fallout of the ferry disaster.

A young man is having problems with brain-mouth coordination. Alex's attachment to the pregnant Jane Doe (Elizabeth Reaser) continues to evolve. Most importantly, we know someone dies in this episode - what we don't know is if that someone is already dead or if there is a second death.

Here's ABC's preview of tonight's episode (for a slightly different version, follow the link below to the second page of this post)...

We're on the edge of our seats, counting down the minutes. As always, we'll have our episode guide posted after the show, and start putting our list of quotes, image gallery, and music guide. Our official forums will be open for discussion immediately afterward!

Here's a slightly altered preview of tonight's show...

does anyone know what is that instrumental that is playing when Meredith wakes up and Derrick is standing in her doorway and tells her, her mother is dead?

ok so i was like really happy that she diddn't die but it's sad cuz i was so freakin happy that it made me bawl my eyes out it was so so good i loved it!!! it made me cry like all night haha... omg i think i'm going to go cry now.....

The song is Unkle Bob Swans - check out Unkle Bob on myspace

Told you the "Miracle" gave it away. Boy they really dragged that out. I wasn't impressed at all with that episode and I am a dedicated fan.
Furthermore I don't think anybody at Seattle Grace can keep their Pants on for a month..certainly not McSteamy. But he'll try, maybe a dose of, what was that stuff called--salt peter--I think. The next big to do will be George and Izzie...Izzie needs to learn that a big part of friendship is knowing when to shut up!

Oops! I typed in my name wrong. Sorry. That's what happenes when I try to type too fast. LOL Also, maybe it's the last two songs that you might be interested in. I love the music from that show.

Here are some of the songs played on the show last night. I think it's the second one that you may be interested in. TITLE: The Lake
LABEL: Colombia
Song plays as the Chief works on Meredith. TITLE: Sleep Don't Weep
PERFORMER: Damien Rice
LABEL: Warner Bros.
Song plays as Meredith's heart flatlines. The doctors look on - unsure if they should continue. TITLE: Swan
LABEL: Mother City
Song plays as Chief says goodbye to Ellis, Derek sleeps by Meredith, and Izzie & Denny sense each other in the hallway.

She lives!!!!! Woooohoooo! Great show last night - left me exhausted afterwards!

Thank god they did not kill Meredith! I am sooo happy?

OMG, i know! i cant find the person who sings that song that played at the end of the show either! they said it would be on iTunes but thats a lie! i couldn't find it. it goes something like "you tell me that you love me but you dont ever want to see me again"...when i googled it i got some group that did a collabo with diana ross called "you tell me that you love me" that came out in 05 or 06 , but thats def not it someone has to know who sings that song

Following the lead of everyone else. I too have been googling some of the lyrics from the end of tonight's episode and I'm getting no results. Someone HAS to know what song it is... I don't think it is a Damien Rice song because I have all of his albums, including his newest one, and its not any of them. And yes, the lyrics I too have been using to search are "You tell me that you love me but you never want to see me again." Anyone have any idea what song this is???

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

When we say things like "people don't change" it drives scientist crazy because change is literally the only constant in all of science. Energy. Matter. It's always changing, morphing, merging, growing, dying. It's the way people try not to change that's unnatural. The way we cling to what things were instead of letting things be what they are. The way we cling to old memories instead of forming new ones. The way we insist on believing despite every scientific indication that anything in this lifetime is permanent. Change is constant. How we experience change that's up to us. It can feel like death or it can feel like a second chance at life. If we open our fingers, loosen our grips, go with it, it can feel like pure adrenaline. Like at any moment we can have another chance at life. Like at any moment, we can be born all over again.

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."
